Code for Africa, one of the communities we supported with a community Microgrant, mapped one of Nigeria's largest slums and trained local women as drone mappers to ensure they were part of putting the community on the map. Read More
Our commitment to reducing gender inequality applies to all aspects of the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team community, including across our board, staff, voting membership, and individual contributors, as outlined in our 2019-21 Strategic Plan. In 2019, we achieved near gender parity with 43.64% female staff members. In addition, three out of seven of our board members are women. Read More
